T&R Company Appoints Territory Manager for Northwestern Nursery Market RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. Jan 24, 2011 – T&R Company, a manufacturer of landscape tree boxes and major distributor of plastic nursery pots, hanging baskets, flats and trays for wholesale nurseries and greenhouses, has announced the appointment of Alan White as Territory Manager for the Northwest. His responsibilities encompass Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Canada. The new appointment increases T&R’s already strong commitment to the wholesale nursery market in the Northwest region and provides further support to the company’s fast expanding Woodburn, Oregon facility. Based in Sandy, Oregon, Alan will represent T&R’s complete line of plastic nursery containers and wood tree boxes specifically for wholesale nursery growers. |
| Alan brings over 30 years of sales experience in the nursery industry and related fields. Most recently he worked as Territory Sales Representative for a leading horticulture supplier, which specialized in products and systems for greenhouse suppliers and growers. In that capacity, he covered the northern Willamette Valley, SW Washington, and Central and Eastern Oregon where he handled key accounts and developed sales programs for a major independent nursery buyers association. He was also responsible for the sales and marketing of grower supplies, production equipment, greenhouse structures and components and irrigation systems. Throughout his career at other nursery related companies, Alan has established and developed sales and marketing plans for several key accounts, handled trade shows displays and co-op advertising, trained account employees and acted as a product buyer for home center stores. |

Previously, he attended Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon and served in the Oregon Air National Guard. |
