T&R Company has a proud history of working to bring environmentally conscious products to market. Our plastic containers are made from recycled material, our wood products are from trees grown on certified reforestation farms, and new for 2008, we are introducing two innovative new product lines to further extend this commitment: Ecotainable® and Fertil.

For a, 'green' product to succeed at market it must satisfy the demands of our earth and the constraints of a budget. T&R Company's Ecotainable® product line has been developed to be both 'Economic' and 'Sustainable' through its highly competitive price point and 'compostability'.

The Fertilpot is an environmentally-friendly biodegradable wood fiber pot that allows plants to form a natural root structure. Fertilpots are composed of 80% long wood fibers and 20% peat moss, and are manufactured without the use of glues or binders. These highly porous pots allow roots, air and water to pass easily through the walls of the container, providing a quick establishment in the landscape. Survival rates are increased, natural root structures are preserved, and landfill waste is decreased.
