T&R Company Appoints New Sales Representative to Support Northwestern Nursery Market RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. Sept. 2, 2009 T&R Company, a manufacturer of landscape tree boxes and major distributor of plastic nursery pots, hanging baskets, flats and trays for wholesale nurseries and greenhouses, has announced the appointment of George Graeber as the new Exclusive Northwest Sales Representative covering Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The new appointment strengthens T&R's continuing commitment to the wholesale nursery market in the Northwest region and provides further support to T&R's Woodburn, Oregon facility, which opened in 2007.
Graeber brings over 30 years of sales experience in the nursery industry including work with independent nurseries as well as home center mass merchandisers. He was owner/operator of his own nursery for 18 years where in addition to sales, he handled merchandising, pricing, receiving, and inventory maintenance of giftware and dry goods. Highlights of his career include tripling sales volume for his nursery, Graeber Gardens, achieving Salesman of the Year in 1979 and 1983 with Bordier's Nursery, and making an historical, first ever green goods sale to the original Home Depot store while working for Nakase Brothers Wholesales Nursery.
In his new position, Graeber says, "I'm looking forward to broadening service to the whole area and working with customers to help them improve their business." Graeber holds a bachelor of science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California and achieved accreditation as a Certified Nurseryman from California Association of Nurserymen.
