Knitted Shade
DeWitt’s Knitted Shade is made from 100% UV stabilized polyethylene. Its unique lock stitch construction allows customers the ability to cut the fabric with scissors without further unraveling.
The professionals on DeWitt’s sewing production team can customize panels to any percentage of shade. We use #4 brass grommets and 2 ¾ " reinforcement tape. The taped edges are double stitched for extra holding power. Please call for custom quotes and lead times.
Woven Shade
DeWitt’s Woven Shade is made from 100% polypropylene monofilament strands. It is UV stabilized to hold up under the most extreme solar conditions. Woven Shade can be used for a variety of applications: wind and privacy screen, shading, and solar protection for your plants.
Note: Where tarp size requires material to be cut down, pricing must be calculated from standard width of product.

Sunbelt, Ultra Web, & White Ground Cover
Sunbelt Resists Tearing, Puncturing & Weed Penetration It is approved for most government weed control applications. Sunbelt is ideal for greenhouses, outdoor displays and as a weed barrier for plantings without topical coverings where a weed-free environment is a must. DeWitt Sunbelt is striped every 12 inches to aid in plant alignment and is UV-stabilized to last even in direct sunlight.

White Ground Cover is a 3.2 oz., UV-stabilized, white woven polypropylene fabric. It is a strong, heavy fabric, which allows it to be more resistant to tearing, puncturing and weed penetration. White Ground Cover can also be used as an alternative to a frost blanket. When applied on top of plantings, it protects against light frost and cold temperatures by holding heat in during the day and by blocking wind at night. White Ground Cover is permeable, allowing water and nutrients to pass through.

This .5 oz. fabric keeps temperatures under fabric warmer than outside conditions and creates an excellent micro-environment for seed germination and seedling growth. In fact, this fabric provides 90-95% average seed germination compared to a 60-65% average with straw.
This 1 oz. fabric protects vegetation from frost by raising temperatures beneath the fabric. In addition to providing protection against cold, wind, birds, insects and scorching sun, Deluxe Plus helps produce larger, earlier and more productive yields.
This ultimate 2.5 oz. fabric provides freeze protection or greater plant protection during extreme conditions.
